The Olney Lace Circle held their inaugural meeting in February 1980 with a handful of members. It has gone from strength to strength and now has over 30 members. Sadly, Sylvia Bull, a founder member who was Chairman for a while, died in 2009.

The logo is a frying pan with a lace bobbin for a handle which was designed by Lesley Hancon, one of our members. Olney is famous for its pancake race, which has been run on Shrove Tuesday for centuries.
